Hello international blind users!

Which is your favourite service to use (e.g. , , etc.)?

And which is the best for you (Mona app, web browser)?

Boost

@komin For me, Mastodon as the service, and Mona as the client for iOS and MacOS. I am also trying out others occasionally, but either they are inaccessible, like Miskey or Firefish, or too big with too many features like Friendica,. The one other service I kinda like is Iceshrimp, a fork of Miskey or one of its derivatives. But it, too, had quite a daunting UI on the web. They try to implement a Mastodon compatible API, so Mona can interface with it, too, but there are some annoying differences, like all replies to everyone by followees being put into the main timeline, not just thread starters and replies to mutual followers. Mastodon, even on the web, is simple enough to not be daunting.

@komin Mastodon as a service and TweeseCake as client for Windows

@komin Mastodon and TweeseCake. I know it lacks some functions, but there is nothing more convenient yet.

@komin Go To social, Enafore on MacOS and Windows as a web client and Toot! for iOS and Tusky for Android.

@komin I started with Friendica, but I noticed the site had many accessibility issues. TweeseCake works well with it, but there were certain things I couldn't do, except on the website. I am now on Akkoma (the Blob.cat instance), and its web version is far more accessible. There are a few issues, but these are far easier to fix, as they're just things like labelling buttons, making the search field accessible, and showing followers and those being followed. While TweeseCake doesn't work with Akkoma, TWBlue does. For the record, I am using NVDA.
