Am 28.6. feiern ihr höchstes Fest, das . Es ist die Geschichte Ibrahims (Abrahams), der seinen Sohn opfern soll: Gott will testen, ob () ihm treu ist. Es gibt ein gutes Ende. Gott hindert Ibrahim (Abraham) im letzten Augenblick daran, seinen Sohn zu töten.

Diese Geschichte verbindet Islam, Christentum und Judentum. Es wäre schön, wenn das Opferfest wie christliche Feiertage ein die Religionen verbindender gesetzlicher Feiertag wäre.
