After another PowerSchool security breach, I'm again thinking of the near complete absence of security breaches when systems were closed and kept in house. Instead, I get to worry about someone stealing kids' data and identities.

(Just got a notice of temp ID monitoring, which reminded me again of how much I hate these systems and how no one should trust that the admins of the school or platform know what the hell they're doing.)

Writing a paper with ChatGPT arguably decreases agency; training your own chatbot on Plato to have dialogues with him increases agency.
