📢 Calling all #Australasian #OpenEducation friends! We do wonderful impactful work, but it's so often hidden or only discovered through word of mouth. Let's get our region on the open ed map by talking about our work in international spaces 🌎

Proposals for #OpenEd25 close 4 April. There are so many ways to present your work that cater for being on the other side of the globe:
💠 Virtual presentations of various lengths
💠 Hybrid presentations and panels of various lengths
💠 Pre-recorded lightning talks (you don't even have to be awake during the conference!)
💠 Poster (you still don't have to be awake during the conference!)

I urge you to check it out and consider submitting your stuff (and maybe team up with others to lighten the load -- collaboration is our region's signature skill!): tinyurl.com/OpenEd25

Could artificial intelligence drive higher education institutions to dispense with grading and refocus attention on empathy and learning, thereby reshaping colleges and universities into dynamic hubs for global change?

💡Das bedeutet, die Community kann Termine, Veranstaltungen etc. nun eigenständig in die OER World Map eintragen und diese werden automatisch🔄 im Kalender unter open-educational-resources.de/ erscheinen. 💯

Recently I'm seeing folks in #OpenEducation who want to public domain-wash some specific material by passing it though the gastrointestinal tract of an LLM.

While IAmNotALawyer, I don't think this works.

And friends, keeping in mind the wonderful Audre Lorde quote that James G-G and Joy Shoemate cited in their #OpenEd24 keynote
"The master's tools will never dismantle the master's house"
... do we really want to go down that path?
