I captured this image of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge on a cool winter day with a small storm clearing and blowing past the city.
This was captured from a location known as Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands. Hawk Hill allows one of the highest vantage points of the bridge and the city.

Golden Gate and The City This is an imaging the bridge and San Francisco. The foreground is the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. There is a large tanker ship heading in towards the San Francisco Bay just about to pass under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge is seen spanning the Golden Gate from the Marin Headlands to San Francisco. A perfect spring Sunday on Mount Diablo. Sunny and hot. Definitely shorts weather. I went on several long walks through the different picnic areas around the empty campground, then spent about an hour writing and sending emails. Having a small desk, a chair, and an actual cot has completely changed the experience for me. As for Luna, I think she's a big fan, especially since there are no flies inside to bother her.

Hong Kong Chinese breakfast places are very nice and familiar places for me. Usually they have good breakfast sets, in flavors and configurations I like (omelette with soy sauce + soft bread + noodles + tea = $10 or something ridiculous)

In SF I like VIP and G & Y. In LA county I like JJ Cafe.

The food, tea, soft and warm breads, and overall experience of being surrounded by old Chinese people in the diaspora is what gives me joy.

Went on a little Passover / Easter grocery walk in the Richmond, SF.

First we went to Seakor Deli, a Polish deli with lots of homemade items including plum butter and pickles.

Then we went to New World Market, a small Eastern European store. We usually go to Europa Plus, so skipped that today. Europa Plus is a bit more cramped than others.

Finally we went to Royal Market, which has way more stuff than all of those put together. My wife was very excited to see pickled whole tomatoes, and we are a fan of canned sprats, so we had a huge variety to pick from. Sour cherry tea. The deli is also very good, but I’m leaving SF for a while so not enough time to prep and cook fresh things. I really appreciate Old World European food.
