When I took my first <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pottery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pottery</span></a> class 12 years ago, I had no idea what I was participating in, how ancient and huge it was. </p><p>A South African potter named <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/JabulileNala" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JabulileNala</span></a> taught me how to coil build.
