So a fetus is a person when trying to deny women rights, but not when the hospital's wallet is on the line? It's obvious the true ideology here is about controlling women and nothing more.

Aiming to limit damages, Catholic hospital argues a fetus isn't the same as a 'person'

I don't think many women had abortions for the reasons listed
I not saying none but the reasons listed cheapen what they went through and wrestled with and the concerns were many, varied, confusing conflicting and complictaed
What it "allowed" them is their basic, indisputable and precarious at all times, right of autonomy
I think that it was not your intention but words like these are dangerous and misleading

"They came out in defense of #NationalParks & small businesses, public #education & #health care for #veterans, #abortion rights & fair #elections. They marched against #tariffs & #oligarchs, dark money & #fascism, the deportation of legal immigrants & #DOGE.

Demonstrators had no shortage of causes as they gathered in towns and cities across the country on Saturday to protest Trump’s agenda."

Today's book has been both emotional and uplifting for me. I have had two abortions in my life and while neither one was especially difficult for me in any way, I understand that for some people it's different. Circumstances, emotions- so many things come into play with a decision this big.

I would like to mention that the author donated 50% of her advance and is donating 100% of sales to abortion funds. Makes me feel good about purchasing this book.

As we explore privilege and entitlement and #patriarchy, there are so many things men simply won't face, or don't believe are happening, or deep down are not able to face.

Because they're weak.

And it doesn't matter how conservative a woman is, if she has a #miscarriage and her husband is not a safe person to talk to, these husbands don't know that they don't know that there have been miscarriages.

That is something that men, ought to be telling other men.

This webinar might be useful for people in *any* red state that has imposed one cult's backward misogynistic beliefs onto everybody and endangered women's lives, their future fertility, and their liberty, in order to impose bodily slavery and unwanted economic hardship on women and their families.

This is not the will of the Divine, it's the will of a bunch of men who want control and power. And it needs to be defeated.
