Viacheslav, a 59-year-old #artist turned soldier, is defending #Ukraine with the South Air Command's security battalion. Before the war, he was an #art teacher, graphic designer, and animator, known for his ink-pen landscapes of the Mykolaiv region.

The image collage features four distinct scenes: a soldier in camouflage holding a rifle in a wooded area; a black-and-white illustration of a rocky stream under a stone bridge; a colorful painting of a cloud-filled sky; and a monochrome drawing of a serene lakeside with a swan. Each image offers a unique theme, from military realism to peaceful nature scenes in both color and black-and-white styles.

Happy #WIPWednesday ! Here’s one of my many illustration #WIP (and the most recent one), featuring two jackdaws! I had this idea after a walk I went on with @lindenshieldarts to go see flowers in a small forest around some vineyards. We saw a lot of jackdaws too
I wonder if or when I’ll finish this illustration haha

A work in progress for a digital illustration: it features two jackdaws facing one another, one is perched on an orange rock, the other on a baby tree. The one on the branch has three flowers in its beak, sketched but not coloured.
The sunlit forest around them is roughly coloured and still lacks a lot of the sketched details.

INNER MONSTERS
Inner Monsters don't necessarily look like "real" monsters. They are part of that constant chatter going on in the background of our own minds, shaping our view of the world. They can appear in a variety of forms, from human, animal, monster-like, even as plants! Most of us... ahem... keep our inner beasties tucked "safely" in the closet, hoping they won't decide to reveal themselves at inopportune times, causing all manner of embarrassing moments, like sudden extreme shyness, unexplained crying jags, overwhelming crankiness, or laughing out loud for no apparent reason, among others. Sound familiar?
The solution is (drum roll please...) to MEET your inner monsters, SEEK to understand them, EMBRACE them as yours, and then LEARN about yourself through them. Bring them out of your personal inner-verse and set them free!
