Snuffing out the rest of Sunday with a little bit of noise for last spin of the night.
This is the only DFA1979 record I’ve ever liked. Their second album (which came 10 years after) didn’t do much for me, same everything that followed that.
Which is fine, because as lethargic and uninspiring as I find the latter day albums, that’s how much I LOVE this one.

ich habe die Audiospur einer Rede Markus Söders mit Audacity modifiziert (u.a. die Tonhöhe extrem heruntergedreht und Verzerrung hinzugefügt)
Dadurch wurde es #HarshNoise bzw. #HarshNoiseWall und demzufolge angenehm

I changed the pitch to extremely low and added distortion
Due to that it became Harsh #Noise / #HNW and thus fun to listen to
My girlfriend is diagnosed with Asperger and I still have a lot to learn
Since I'm also into #HarshNoise the title of this album caught my eye

is a #DoomMetal / #DungeonSynth / Blackened #Noise song about the protests in #Serbia and the #SoundCannon used by the police, including authentic audio footage and tinnitus-like sound effects
It's also a tribute to the band #Kanonenfieber

One of the final modules for my #StackSynth project: the #noise generator. It outputs white, blue, and pink noise and uses a #3904 and a #TL074 with a lot of resistors and a couple of capacitors.

I prototyped it on solderless #breadboard and then designed the #PCB in @kicad and let @aislerhq manufacture them again. It turned out quite nice and sounds great.

Ich finde es ja immer wieder beeindruckend wie krass überwältigend die #Musik von #Ein_Mann_Projekten, von #Multiinstrumentalisten sein kann. Ob #Noise (#NonEstDeus, #Kanonenfieber, #Leipa), #SCOURGE666, #Lurker_of_Chalice oder meine #Neuentdeckung #Luroga, irgendwie scheint es ein Vorteil zu sein keine Kompromisse eingehen zu müssen und die eigene Vision so umsetzen zu können wie es einem gerade richtig scheint!

Yeah, I took out my olde guitar I can't even play and recorded string by string like the genius I am... just to prepare one more live song that will hopefully be finished till next weekend. For Cologne! For Köln!
And I'm luckily (for you!) not the only one on stage, there will be @knrd@sonomu.club and @noisio@chaos.social of the Rundfunkorchestra, or the wild and unbelievable @luka@sonomu.club - and those are only the #FediverseMusicians. A hell uva night, full of experimental and not so #experimental #noise organized by the one and only @dlikdh@metalhead.club , him being a legendary expert in the CC and net label scene.

It was about the loud noises.
The rejection of being excited about electic #dragracers going faster than combustion engines is a clear tell, of weak manhood and making of excuses.
It was never about going fast, but proving that you were resilient to the loud noises the fastest cars used to make.
The need to prove your fearlessness begins from seeing the world full of threat to begin with. It starts from a position of fear.
Which makes me sad. I like fast #cars, but not for their #noise.
