In den Niederlanden werden die Wohnstraßen (kein Schnellweg, keine Zubringerstraße/Hauptstraße) nicht nur geklinkert, sondern auch folgendes:
Wenn bei einer Verkehrsmessung festgestellt wird, dass auf einer Wohnstraße mehr als 5000 Autos/Tag fahren, dann wird nicht die Straße darauf ausgelegt, sondern durch #Verkehrsberuhigung dafür gesorgt, dass das weniger wird.
Mehr halten Klinker auch nicht aus.

Across Africa cycling is considered to be stigmatized (in varying degrees) among social climbers and people who want to be seen as doing well in their lives and careers.
