Ainda bem que eu já havia feito um perfil aqui no #Mastodon e outro no #BlueSky logo em seguida e pude reencontrar uma pessoas que já seguia no #twitter. Mesmo assim, essa rede vai deixar saudades! Minha conta lá era uma das mais antigas e eu estava lá desde 2010. Eu migrei pro #twitter na época justamente pq o então #Orkut havia acabado. Antes do #Orkut, eu tinha #MSN. Acho que já estou na quarta #migraçãodigital.

I have been using Duckduckgo for years now and i was very satisfied with their service. The key feature for me as a polyglot was the ability to geolocalise my search to a given country from the result page.
But for months now 9 out of 10 results in the "news" section in english have become "*newspaper* on Msn.com" results.

This is bad because:
1 - I would rather direct my trafic to the newspaper that created the article. The written press is in enough trouble as it is for us to allow Microsoft to vampirise their readership.
2 - and I know this is a minor annoyance, but i also don't want to have to click on "I don't want to download your damned Msn app" every time I need to read an article.

So right now i am trying Startpage. Any suggestion welcome. Brave search is a non-starter.
