I’ve noticed that the stale, perpetually used GOP rhetoric that #BernieSanders and #AOC are ’socialist’ or a ‘communist’ is just not scaring people like it used to.
If there is one silver lining to brazen display of corruption and greed in the Trump administration, it’s that - whatever Sanders & Ocasio-Cortez are promoting (which is neither socialism or communism) - doesn’t seem anywhere near as bad.
I was gonna watch some nice relaxing cities skylines or time team vid before turning in, but started watching the live stream of AOC and Bernie speaking in LA instead. Gods' damnit they've got me feeling a little hope for the future.
