all the reporting on the supposed ceasefire is so transparently propaganda. There's no mention of the constant back and forth, cat and mouse game that Netanyahu has been playing. They have found reasons to not accept the deal for months! We should be hearing about how unlikely this is to actually mean the IOF stops firing on Gaza. After all they didn't stop bombing Lebanon after that "ceasefire," did they.

At least 77 Palestinians dead in Gaza overnight.

this is one of the 50 laws Biden signed yesterday, so we know Congress can do stuff IF they wanna. It amends a 2020 law that requires teaching the Holocaust in schools & provides special funding & instructions to do so. There is NO law that requires kidz learn abt any of #Genocides the US has done, while we currently assist #ApartheidIsrael in doing an active #Genocide

#Palestine / Slovenia's RTVSLO calls for Israel's removal from Eurovision 2025

The #Slovenian national broadcaster, #RTVSLO, has officially requested Israel's removal from the #Eurovision Song Contest 2025, citing the ongoing conflict and accusations of war crimes and genocide committed by Israel in Gaza. This follows a resolution passed by RTVSLO's council, aligning with the Slovenian government's stance against Israel's actions.

While two other resolutions proposing Slovenia's withdrawal or a blackout of Israel's performance were rejected, this is the first instance of a participating broadcaster publicly opposing Israel's participation.

The #EBU, Eurovision's organizer, has yet to respond, maintaining its position that the contest should remain apolitical.
