I'm still thinking about setting up a selfhosted #Matrix Server, but I'm not sure about which software to use.
Available hardware: Synology DS920+ with plenty of RAM.
Top of my current list is #conduwuit, close second is #synapse .
I read that Synapse can be very hungry on resources, even for single-user servers. Is that still a problem?
I've started collecting #VR #influencer contact info for sending out early access #SteamKeys of #PortalFoxesTD, and I do not understand this ecosystem. I see a cool looking channel and it'll have a thousand subscribers, but a channel with a ton of horrible BS will have a million. I'm trying to get a good mix of big and small and cast a wide net, so if you know anyone who might be interested let me know. #boostsappreciated
I'll set up #Nepenthes or something similar of your choice on your existing server, but customise it so it kind of looks like your website and can provide human visitors with a bit of entertainment. I don't know tooo much of its inner workings but I'm a quick learner and am also adept at styling/templating/picking up your website's vibes

Pneumatic springs for the side solar panels on the bus to prop up solar panels while being wind and weather resistant

Replacement connectors for escooter
Materials to rebuild the bus into a more livable place (replacement of ceiling, materials for lab/office, materials for kitchen and bathroom, Insulation for inside of bus)
Insulation and heat shielding for 100 gal water tank as well as tank heaters for cold months
Tire change for bus as the retreads are prone to coming off at any point
I will need as much as possible as building it out is intense in every way in this realm

So, our less-than-ten-year old defective-from-the-factory Samsung cooker has bitten the dust. I'd like to hear from the bakers and chefs what ovens you've had, whether or not you like them, and SPECIFICALLY WHAT you like or dislike about them.
My own priorities are utility and reliability (the Samsung failed on both accounts). We do a lot of bread baking, as hot as possible (290 -- 315C / 550-600F), other baking anywhere from 120--230C (250--450F), as well as broiling and roasting.
Bread baking likes a steamy oven. The oven need not have a steam feature but should be able to hold steam if added (e.g., a pan on the oven floor). The unit as a whole must handle bread-baking temps without melting or damage (another massive fail of the Samsung).
Other nice-to-haves: convection, and settings for bread proofing and fruit/meat drying.
The range hobs should support a Moka pot, which requires burner grates that support a small-diameter vessel (6--10cm / 3--4 in). Closed-cross designs work, open-cross does not. (This is a curiously common failing of many cookers.)
Griddle and wok rings would be nice, but not necessary.
Gas range preferred (I know), "dual fuel" electric oven works.

I have an #X230Tablet with a monitor (VGA) and an e-ink screen (HDMI over DisplayPort) in addition to its in-built screen, but I can only use two of them at a time. The third one just remains blank, and whichever it is, only starts working when I disable one of the other two
